History of H.E. Rieckelman

Founded in 1953, H.E. Rieckelman has been a trusted leader in HVAC solutions for over 70 years. Originally established to represent Baltimore Aircoil Company in Ontario and Eastern Canada, we’ve grown into a full-service HVAC distribution company. Known for our deep industry expertise, exceptional service, and custom-engineered products, we partner with building owners, engineers, and contractors to deliver complete HVAC solutions for new builds, retrofits, and replacements across a wide range of industries

1953

Company Founded

H.E. Rieckelman is formed by John Rieckelman to serve Ontario and Eastern Canada’s cooling tower market as the exclusive rep for Baltimore Aircoil Company

1986

Employee Ownership & Product Expansion

John continues the success as he sells the company to existing employees, where they add on accessories to their cooling tower offerings

1988

Service Division Established

The H.E. Rieckelman team start their sister company, Evaporative Tower Services, to further compliment the solutions they offer to the market with the ability to have complete service capabilities with all things cooling towers

2018

New Leadership & HVAC Distribution Expansion

A new (and the current) ownership group of H.E. Rieckelman bring on their decades of experience within the industry, expanding the company to a full HVAC distribution company, starting off their additional complimentary manufacturer representation with Bulldog Heat Pumps

2024

Strategic Partnership with GLP Canada

H.E. Rieckelman partners with GLP Canada, as they unite their efforts to continue expanding their HVAC solutions across Canada
